Why the Foundation Exists
The LTC Brandon A. Shah Leadership Foundation was created to honor Brandon’s life and continue his commitment to developing leaders, serving others and taking care of those around him.
Through scholarships, mentorship, support for Gold Star families, and work with ROTC and JROTC communities, the Foundation will carry those commitments forward for future generations.
Our Mission
To honor the legacy of LTC Brandon A. Shah by empowering future military leaders through scholarships and mentorship, supporting Gold Star spouses and families, promoting safer and stronger ROTC environments, and inspiring servant leadership through education, service and advocacy.
What We’re Building
Leadership & Education
The Foundation will support ROTC and JROTC students through scholarships, mentorship, leadership development and educational opportunities, helping prepare future military and community leaders who demonstrate character, integrity and a commitment to service.
Advocacy & Awareness
The Foundation will work with universities, ROTC programs and other partners to promote strong leadership, accountability, preparedness and safer, more supportive environments for military-affiliated students.
Gold Star Family Support
The Foundation will develop resources and programs for Gold Star spouses and families, including benefits education, resource navigation, mentorship, financial education and opportunities to connect with others who understand the experience of military loss.
Community Leadership
The Foundation will carry Brandon’s commitment to service forward through community initiatives, leadership recognition, educational programming and partnerships that encourage others to lead with character, responsibility and purpose.
